Urgent notice regarding our Meeting Venue

Dear Members/Friends of HK MBA Toastmasters Club

Today, I received a shocking and dismal piece of information that our meeting venue "Den Wine Tasting Bar" is going to end their operation. We are being informed that the last day of operation is actually today 22 March 2011.

Now, there are several things that affect us:

* We asked about our purchased prepaid value card for wine tasting, we are being told that "arrangement will be made later". I don't feel that it is a good enough response, but it is what we are being told for the time being.

* The regular meeting on 23 March 2011 at Den will have to be cancelled. Instead, members and guests can visit our Sponsoring Club, Centraler Toastmasters Club. Arrangement has been made for some of our members to make speech, take up roles there. Details of the meeting can be found at www.centraler.hk

* We are in URGENT need of a meeting venue. In particular for the Demo Meeting to be held on 13 April 2011. We need your HELP! Please suggest connections to venues that suit the style of our club.

So far for now, I shall keep you posted.
