Mentor Programme

Toastmasters Educational program offers a mentor programme, through which we match more advanced speakers in the club with new members seeking guidance. A mentor acts as an advisor, coach and confidante to their mentee. Our success in this programme has taught us that this helps members settle in faster and enjoy their membership in Toastmasters more. As a result, the Mentor Programme is an important part of our Club. Here are some of the ways in which a club mentor can help:

Provide more extensive feedback on speeches
Provide tips on correcting/improving speaking style
Just be there as your biggest supporter!

When you join as a new member, you will be assigned a mentor to help see you through your first three projects. If you are a current member and would like to be assigned with a mentor, please contact Vice President Education at vpe@mbatoastmasters.org.
